    Yeah Baby!

OK, I am impressed. Powerful motor, strong magnet, easy to use. I have cut about 50 holes so far in 1/4 and 3/8 and 1/2, and in these thicknesses it literally cuts a perfect hole in 15-20 seconds, with no burrs to clean. One pass and done. No more changing to several progressively larger bits for just one hole like I do with a drill press. I just built a 3-point tractor bucket/scoop/carryall and needed about 30 3/4in precision holes, which would have taken me days and lots of bits with a drill press. But instead I used the mag drill and ONE 3/4 annular cutter. Saved me sooooo much time. Their website actually has several parts for this drill that you can buy if you have any problems with it down the road. AND the company actually answers their phone, with a real person. You can see it in action if u search it on u-tube. My only regret is I didn't buy this tool a long time ago LOL

I wish I would have bought one of these 40 years ago!!! Excellent build quality. Worth every cent of the bargain price!

I wish I would have bought one of these 40 years ago!!! (I realize they weren't around 40 years ago...but still...) This drill is absolutely amazing! I rented a mag-base drillpress several years ago for a different project I was building and it was fairly expensive, even just for a 2-day weekend. My current project requires a mag-base drillpress many, many times over a several month period. It would be cost prohibitive to either rent one repeatedly or buy another brand from any of several other sellers. This drill is very reasonably priced for the quality of tool you get. The build quality on this drill is excellent! In spite of its significant weight, in addition to simply using it on the floor/bench of my shop, I'm using it on an huge outdoor project, on scaffolding and ladders, on both vertical and overhead surfaces (3/8 thick plate) - and it works beautifully!!! These drillings would be impossible (or at least extremely dangerous) with a standard drill. Prior to buying it I was unsure how on earth I was going to perform these tasks (because of the above two $$$ reasons) until I spotted a tool review on Youtube (by ChuckE2009). The guy (who is extremely knowledgeable/skillful sometimes tends to be a little bit of a gorilla with things) was initially pretty critical of the drill, since he was used to using a $1200 professional model) but he quickly changed his opinion once he started drilling hole after hole in some 3/4" steel plate). He wholeheartedly recommended the drill to any non-professional...and that'd be ME. I read more Amazon reviews and finally took the chance and bought it. AM I GLAD I DID!!! (Also on a recommendation from ChuckE2009) I bought an 8-piece set of annualar bits (Accusize - H.S.S. Annular Cutter Set - 1" Cutting Depth, 7/16" - 1-1/16'', 8 Pcs/Set, #HCS1-0000). These bits, combined with this mag-drillpress cut through 3/8" thick plate like the proverbial 'hot knife through butter' !!! A month ago I had to use a large Milwaukee hand drill to enlarge some holes in these plates, and in spite of employing a 24" pipe for additional leverage, I still managed to nearly break my wrist twice. Had I been using this Bluerock drill instead, the task would have been MUCH safer, faster, accurate, and pleasant to accomplish! (Just use plenty of cutting oil and it should keep the bits sharp for a long time. I had never used annular bits before and now I'm sold on them!) I've only had the drill for about a month, but so far I'm completely sold on it and can HIGHLY recommend it.

    BRM-35A Mag drill

Only drilled two 5/8” holes in 1/4” flat stock but worked awesome. I feel good about the purchase especially when you look on Bluerock’s website and you can any number of replacement parts, so while I hope I don’t ever have to fix it it’s nice to know I can
