After renting core drills for some time I decided to make a purchase. I'm extremely with my purchase and now I'm going to by the stand. You can not go wrong.

Excellent tool for the money works great very handy to have for quick holes.

Was a lil concerned with it as cheap as it was but after 5 minutes of using it my mind was at ease. Works as good as the $1600 I was using I’ve only drilled about 8 holes so far but went right through the 2 inches of granite and the brick underneath like it was nothing. The bullet level on the top is awesome to make sure your plum. Would recommend if you are looking for a good coring drill for a great price and the bits they sell work just as well.

I have been using my Z1 for over a year, and it is excellent.
I am preparing to buy about 50 of the Z1's.
Prior to making the decision to use the Z1, I disassembled the one that I have been using.
Design and Build quality are excellent.
All Ball and roller bearilngs throughout.
Excellent brushes and holders shielded from dust.
Easy to adjust slip clutch
Rubber o-ring seals, no gaskets.

My earlier drill motors were FLEX, a high quality German-made unit.
Expensive, may be out of production, parts hard to get.

This drill worked incredibly well and is about 1/5th the cost of similar drills on the market. Even if it only lasts us 2 years which I fully anticipate it will last a lot longer, it will be worth every penny!
